I have always loved a self help book. It’s never too late to improve ourselves and learn about new findings to help us feel better and make better relationships with those around us.

Will the kids let me read it is theβ“πŸ˜‚. Doubt it. Just seeing the title helps though. πŸ’•

Sleep Hack

Do you have trouble getting to sleep or with waking for no reason during the night?

Life hack for some to help aid a better night’s sleep!

I used to think my 2 cups of 1 shot coffee was fine as I had them by 11am.

But I’ve been recently not dropping off as well as I used to and I’d now and again wake up during the night and stay awake for a bit. How could it be the caffiene I had 15hrs ago??

It’s not until you try these little hacks that you realise actually 2 weak cups was too many for me! Pathetic really..

I’ve now cut back to 1 x1 shot coffee by 9am and now I drop off in the middle of my Netflix drama and only wake for a quick wee before falling back to sleep again 😜. Bingo. I still fancy that 2nd coffee, so I now have a good decaf instead, which tastes exactly the same.

Try it for a few days and let me know if it makes a difference.

Here’s the beginner/weak back option to yesterday’s fav Pilates sequence of mine.

Starting with a loosening prep exercise, the knee rolls, then into lift and crunch, followed by the classic 100.

You’re going to feel super strong with this.

Pilates Sequence

This is definitely one of my fav Pilates sequences of the moment.

Starting with a loosening prep exercise, the knee rolls, then into lift and crunch, followed by the classic 100.

You’re going to feel super strong with this.

It’s intermediate/advanced, so weaker backs shouldn’t try this yet.

Look out for an easier version of the same tomorrow.

Wellness Wednesday and for me today it’s to Smile.

Even when you just don’t feel like it try and smile.

It’ll brighten up your day and someone else’s.

I know smiley cheerful people can sometimes get on people’s nerves, but what’s the alternative?

Go for it, if you feel low today, just encourage yourself to smile and see how it feels. 😁
