Beginners /weaker back Pilates option

Here’s the beginner/weak back option to yesterday’s fav Pilates sequence of mine.

Starting with a loosening prep exercise, the knee rolls, then into lift and crunch, followed by the classic 100.

You’re going to feel super strong with this.

Pilates Sequence

This is definitely one of my fav Pilates sequences of the moment.

Starting with a loosening prep exercise, the knee rolls, then into lift and crunch, followed by the classic 100.

You’re going to feel super strong with this.

It’s intermediate/advanced, so weaker backs shouldn’t try this yet.

Look out for an easier version of the same tomorrow.

Wellness Wednesday and for me today it’s to Smile.

Even when you just don’t feel like it try and smile.

It’ll brighten up your day and someone else’s.

I know smiley cheerful people can sometimes get on people’s nerves, but what’s the alternative?

Go for it, if you feel low today, just encourage yourself to smile and see how it feels. 😁

Want a better posture?

Chin up, chest out, be proud.

Want a better posture? Try these 3 moves to straighten you up.

There’s no easier way to look like you’ve lost a stone but to stand tall with your shoulders back, chin up and chest out 😜

Be proud 💕

1 Arms back, keep them back and raise them up and down above and below shoulder height.

2 VW. Arms above head in a V position, then bring elbows back behind you to the W. Keep the arms back.

3 Retract the shoulders by having straight arms out in front of you and without bending the elbows, move them back and forth.

Tight shoulders, low back or glutes?

Grab a hard tennis ball and give yourself a massage. It’s brilliant and so effective, and will save you £££ 😜

Pop the ball behind a sore area, leaning against a wall and slowly wriggle over the ball, loosening the problem area. It’s simple.

International Women’s Day

Yesterday was International Women’s Day, sorry I’m late in saying this, but all of the women I know are WONDERFUL, AMAZING AND STRONG.

Each in their own way. It takes all sorts to make the world go round and we all hold each other up.

Keep doing what you’re doing ladies and know that we’ve all got each others backs. Men simply don’t get it like we do (there are always exceptions).😜
